Pinned Memory explores preservation and transformation through Vivienne Westwood’s language of tartan, corsetry and reconstruction.
Following the principles of Cut, Slash & Pull, tartan is cut and reassembled around a corseted silhouette. Oversized safety pins hold fragmented forms together, making repair—and the traces of transformation—visible. Chains and disrupted drapery bring tension between control and rebellion.
